RACV is partnering with EG Australia to offer RACV Members up to 13 cents off per litre on petrol and diesel products.

RACV Members will have access to the discounts at more than 540 participating EG Ampol fuel and convenience sites across Australia, by simply downloading the offer from RACV’s discount fuel page http://www.racv.com.au/discount-fuel.

Members will have the option to combine three levels of discounts to total savings of 13 cents per litre.

In addition to saving 5 cents per litre through RACV membership, motorists will also be able to combine this with their 4 cents discount from their Woolworths Everyday Reward Card and an additional 4 cents off for those that spend $5 or more in-store at EG Ampol when they fill up – totalling 13 cents off per litre.

RACV Executive General Manager Leisure, Craig Peachey, said the savings would be significant for all Members.

“This is another great example of how RACV is delivering for our Members, recognising what’s important to motorists and helping them navitage the current cost of living pressures,” Mr Peachey said.

“When it comes to finding the best place to buy fuel, a little extra effort really does go a long way. Fuel discounts of up to 13 cents per litre can mean a saving of as much as $6.50 each time you fill up a 50- litre tank, with Members potentially being able to save hundreds of dollars a year on fuel.”

Recent data from the Australian Automobile Association revealed that in the second quarter of 2022, Melbournians were paying an average of $97.29 in fuel every week. This represents a $24.68 increase from the same period in 2021.

EG Australia Head of Business to Business Fuel Sales, Poh Lee, said the partnership with RACV offered a great opportunity for Members to make significant savings.

“EG Ampol is already known to provide great value to motorists and this offer will bring even better value to RACV members which we are very excited about. The offer is available nationally across our 540 locations, so Members can benefit when they travel both intra and interstate,” said Mr Lee.

“There are over 2 Million RACV Members and if each Member filled just once a week that’s over $150 million in fuel savings a year, across all Members.”
