Customers to save more on selected range of products by swiping Flybuys card from Wednesday, Coles will provide another way for customers to save on their weekly groceries by introducing exclusive Flybuys Member Prices both instore and online on selected products.

During the month of November, customers will just need to swipe their Flybuys card to save an additional $1, $2, $3, $5 or $10 off selected products which are some of the most popular in store including on Coles No Added Hormone 5 star mince, a range of Coles Finest Laurent Bread, Bega Cheese, Jalna Yoghurt, Nudie juices, Nescafe Coffee, Kellogg’s cereal, Purr Cat Food and more.*

With the savings on products during the month ranging between 9 and 38%, one of the most popular offers is expected to be $1 off Australia’s favourite quick and easy dinner, the Coles RSPCA Approved Hot Roast Chicken.

Coles Chief Executive of Commercial and Express Leah Weckert said providing additional dollars off their shop is a way to give back to loyal Flybuys members at a time they need it most.

“Flybuys Member Prices is the first time we are giving members the opportunity to receive exclusive instant discounts on some of their favourite products just by swiping their Flybuys card,” Leah said.

“These are real dollars off their shop and are a way for Coles to offers members of our loyalty program value beyond points, essentially money back in their pockets.  This is just one of the ways we are helping our customers’ Christmas budgets go further. In addition, we have locked the price of more than 1,100 essential items since August until at least the end of January and we have dropped and locked the price of a further 150 products.

“From a recent survey of more than 7,500 customers, we also know that more than one-third of customers turn primarily to supermarket catalogues and loyalty program emails to manage their food budget so we will continue to provide the deep discounts on around 6,500 products each week across various specials and relevant Flybuys offers to help with cost-of-living pressures.”

Flybuys CEO Anna Lee said there are many ways members of the loyalty program can boost their points balance and make the most of the points they’ve collected in time for Christmas.

“With cost-of-living pressures continuing to be a significant challenge for our members, we’re continually looking for new ways to reward them with more value for their everyday spend, whether it be through bonus points offers, saving money at the fuel pump, or through money off their shop at Coles.

“We’re proud to be launching Flybuys Member Prices in partnership with Coles as another way of giving value back to our members and helping to alleviate some of that pressure on household budgets.”
