9 reasons to break out the LEGO these school holidays
1 – 4 years
Paper plate dinosaurs and LEGO® DUPLO® trees – Did you know that paper plate dinosaurs absolutely love chomping away on LEGO® DUPLO® trees? Test it out if you don’t believe us! This craft is great fun for any dinosaur-loving toddler and you can make all kinds of different species depending on what you have around the house.
Cars parking lot spelling game – This game turns spelling into a fun parking lot game for children. For younger children, it can be a simple way to help them learn to recognize their own name. And for older children, you can make it more difficult by adding more difficult words, or getting rid of the letters in the parking lot and turning it into a fun spelling challenge.
Egg box animals – Ever wondered what to do with leftover egg cartons (other than recycle them of course!) Well it turns out they make the perfect base for a fun animal-themed craft. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the decorations on hand, let your child use their imagination and just see what you can find around the house.
5 – 8 years
A maze – Build your own LEGO® maze from your brick collection at home, find a small rolling object and see if you can make it through the maze. If it becomes too easy, simply build a more advanced maze to raise the bar.

8+ years
