Easy DIY fabric softener-in-a-jar, low cost, biodegradable and it will leave your laundry smelling fresh and feeling soft.
You’ll need:
- 2 cups of Epsom salts
- 20-30 drops of your favourite essential oil (Lavender or Eucalyptus Oils are both great in the laundry)
- 1/2 cup baking soda
Directions:
- Mix together the Epsom salts and essential oil first, then add the baking soda. Mix well until all combined and pour into a suitable container.
- Label the jar correctly, and store in a safe place. (Remember little people are so inquisitive!) Use 2-3 tablespoons each load, during the rinse cycle.
Alternatively you could use 1/2 cup of white vinegar and a few drops of your favourite essential oil.
